Colin was such an amazing person and one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was my friend throughout optometry school and was always striving to better himself to become a great clinician. He was part of our Section B group so I got the pleasure of having him in basically all my classes and labs. He always was more than happy to help other people and work together. He was not just a great student but a great clinician as well. I was so grateful that he was my partner throughout our Peds rotation at TEI. He always managed to brighten my day no matter what school/life threw our way.
Outside of school, Colin was such a fun person to hang out with or grab drinks to just chat and unwind. He also was a great person to go hiking with. We hiked up Mount Chocorua in the White Mountains together during 4th year rotations. I loved being around Colin as he just always made things more fun and always knew how to make people laugh.
Colin was a very special friend to myself and my (now) husband, Kyle. We were so excited to have him be our officiant at our wedding this October because we felt he would be the perfect person for this special day. Unfortunately, Colin was unable to make it to our wedding but he kept saying how much he had been looking forward to celebrating with us -- always putting other people first.
Kyle & I are absolutely devastated at the loss of our good friend. We will miss hanging out with him, grabbing drinks, hiking, and just chatting and joking with him. Colin was a great friend, wonderful colleague, extremely caring and selfless, and overall an amazing person. He will be sorely missed by all his friends & family.
Rest In Peace, Colin. We love you always & forever!
