I first met Colin when we were on clinical rotations in Wilmington, North Carolina. We got along right away in clinic and I really enjoyed listening to his thoughts, jokes, and opinions. When a hurricane hit the area, my apartment took significant damage and the landlord told us we had to vacate the buildings on very short notice. Living in an unfamiliar state with nowhere to go, I was worried. Colin didn't even hesitate to offer me to stay in his apartment for the rest of the rotation. Colin and his mother were kind enough to let me stay there for well over a month, even for the week after Colin returned to Pennsylvania. I will always be so, so grateful for the genuine kindness and empathy Colin displayed. I think about him almost every day and miss him. He was truly a kind, courteous, and thoughtful soul. I'm sending all my love to his family and friends. You will truly be missed, my friend.
